According to the reports from Kalkine Media, NASA’s highly successful mission in the Kuiper Belt is facing a massive budget cut. The cut was intended to terminate the mission in the Kuiper Belt and dismiss the long-standing success of the New Horizons.
New Horizons has been on a mission in the Kuiper Belt for 17 years and has already succeeded in returning close-up images of multiple planets, such as Pluto and its moon. The success of the mission in the Kuiper Belt has become a treasure trove of transformative data on Earth.

Principal Investigator’s Statement on the Funding Cut for the Mission in the Kuiper Belt
SPACE has shared the statement of the principal investigator of the mission in the Kuiper Belt, Dr. Alan Stern, in their article. Dr. Stern has expressed his unhappiness with the financial constraints that were caused by NASA.
The principal investigator of the mission in the Kuiper Belt stated that New Horizons is the only spacecraft that was able to observe the Kuiper Belt and quitting the mission in the Kuiper Belt after spending nearly billions seems to be a tragic way of using tax as the money can never be recovered.
