The reasons behind the danger vary from issues like illegal immigration to economic disparities. Among these cities is Roswell is known for UFO sightings but also for high crime rates. With these challenges present residents statewide are urged to be cautious and aware in their daily lives.

Las Cruces
Las Cruces is a city where many Americans live and facing more crime. The chance of violence happening is 1 in 201 and property crime is 1 in 27. Living there costs more and the crime is rising.
Artesia
In Artesia is a small town with about 12,000 Americans and crime is a problem. The chance of property crime is 1 in 32 and violence is 1 in 190. Even though it’s a nice place to live but crime is still a big worry.
Clovis
Clovis is a city with a lot of different people has safety issues. It’s named after old people who hunted big animals. There are many rapes and murders there. Although it’s not as bad as before it’s still not very safe.
Roswell
Roswell is famous for aliens and has a different problem. Many people try to take things that don’t belong to them. Even though it’s known for aliens it’s not a safe place to live.
Los Lunas
Los Lunas is near Albuquerque and getting more dangerous. Lots of people are moving there but crime is rising. Property crime happens a lot and violence is also a worry.
