A group of esteemed astronomers recently found on Wednesday that the first black hole, Messier 87, also known as Virgo A or NGC4486, was spinning in the recent image.

Supermassive Black hole, Messier 87, is Spinning?
SPACE reports that the first-ever supermassive black hole, identified as Messier 87, which is famous for its fuzzy orange donut shape was recently found to be spinning in the recent images. However, the new study was not accurate enough to know how fast the Messier 87 really spins.
These new studies have provided much excitement to the scientists who have now new insights about the breakthrough. Scientists are also now predicting the rotation of the Messier 87.
Working Theories of Astronomers Regarding Messier 87
According to The Guardian, the Messier 87, is located 55m light years from the Earth. Messier 87 is also known as bigger than the Sun.
Many theories were formed upon astronomers located and found Messier 87 and now that the black hole was found to be spinning. Theories are once again rising up in the circles of astronomy enthusiasts.
According to the theories, the spinning black hole, Messier 87, was so massive that the surrounding it is being dragged towards the surrounding accretion disk and sucked stellar materials. However, it is only a theory in the study as the spinning of the Messier 87 was not very well understood.
