According to BESTOCKS, the legal battle between Epic Games and Apple Store, two of the renowned digital marketplaces continued as Epic Games company took the bold action of filing a petition for a writ of certiorari. This means that the digital marketplace, Epic Games, has asked the US Supreme Court to re-evaluate a judge’s 2021 verdict regarding the policies of another digital marketplace known as Apple Store.
This legal battle of the two digital marketplaces has continued for several years to take control of the digital marketplace. The reports stated that Apple won the battle early months of 2023. However, Epic Games has been determined to find a way to win the legal battle.

Digital Marketplaces Listed Reasons for Supreme Court to Hear the Case
Mac Rumors reports that in the petition of Epic Game, a known digital marketplace in the U.S., the company listed several reasons why the U.S. Supreme Court should hear the case.
For their reasons, they focused on errors made by the lower courts, as the changes in the policies of the Apple Store would impact hundreds of thousands of developers. However, the Supreme Court opted not to hear the digital marketplace, Epic Games’ case. However, the Court accepted a fraction of the cases in which it is asked to review each year.
