Lorenzo Gardner, a star player on the basketball team at Monessen High School who achieved a milestone of hitting 1,000 points in February this year, was allegedly apprehended on Sunday and currently facing several offenses.

According to HSSN, Lorenzo Gardner is a basketball player at Monessen High School. Lorenzo Gardner became a star player when his team won against the Western Beaver with a score of 60-44 in February this year.
According to the report, Lorenzo Gardner became the 34th basketball player ever to hit the 1,000-point milestone.

Star Basketball Player Lorenzo Gardner Faces Charges
TRIB reports that Lorenzo Gardner was recently arrested for possessing drugs and trespassing on an abandoned house.
According to the police officials who raided the abandoned house, three males trespassed the house; two of them were juveniles, and the third was identified as Lorenzo Gardner, the 18-year-old star basketball player who made a 1-000-point milestone early this year.
Police officials stated that they found a large amount of marijuana in the abandoned house but did not specify how much. Moreover, the abandoned house doors, both the front and back, were also covered in sprayed graffiti.
The Monessen police have revealed that none of the three teens claimed ownership of the drugs. The police also stated that the building’s owner did not give permission to Lorenzo Gardner and the two juveniles to be inside the house.
Lorenzo Gardner was charged with criminal trespass and drug possession with intent to deliver, criminal mischief, and drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lorenzo Gardner’s preliminary hearing will be on September 8. He was released with a bail pending of $10,000.
