Marana Residents Shaken as Police Investigate Double Fatality Linked to Possible Murder-Suicide Tragedy
According to 13 News, a sad event happened in a calm area in Marana, Arizona where two Americans were found dead on March 19. The police came to the scene at around 11:40 a.m. in the 12000 block of Paseo Penuela near Tangerine and Thornydale. The police said it was a possible murder-suicide incident but it was still under investigation. One person was found dead in their garage shot by someone else. Across the street another person 62-year-old Oscar Octavio Baca was found dead too having shot himself.

Marana Community Seeks Closure Amidst Baffling Possible Murder-Suicide Mystery
Oscar Octavio Baca’s son shared that his dad and the victim were close friends who went to church together. Baca had trouble sleeping recently but wasn’t on medication. His son was surprised to hear about a gun as he didn’t know his dad had one. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to come forward. Despite Baca’s son saying his mom’s death two years ago may not be related questions linger. The police are puzzled by the seemingly sudden and unexplained shooting leaving the neighborhood in shock and seeking answers.
