A couple in Louisiana has been arrested for neglecting a child, which resulted in death. Parents of the dead child now face charges of murder.
Initial Reports from the Deputies
According to the reports on NOLA, the deputies that responded to a call had discovered the four-month-old’s body lying in bed when deputies arrived in the 100 block of Northwest 18th Street. It was said that the baby showed no signs of life. Thus, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Moreover, the infant’s older brother, a 13-month-old child, also showed signs of neglect and abuse. The Baptist Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre called the incident the worst child neglect he has ever seen and even stated that wild animals can take better care of their children.

Louisiana Couple Faces Several Charges
According to the reports from FOX8, the Louisiana parents were identified as Angel Taylor and Chevy Lafountain. They were taken into custody when the dead child was found, while the older child was taken into state custody.
The couple is now facing second-degree murder, neglect, and child abuse. The judge stated that their bond was set at $600,000 with no 10% option.
