The current arrangement places Huawei and a group of businesses in control of cellular technology provider TD Tech. In a Friday announcement, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) listed the government-owned Chengdu High-Tech Investment Group, Chengdu Gaoxin Jicui Technology Co, and venture capital company Huagai as consortium members.
Nokia’s strategy reorganization reflects changing global technology ties amid US-China tensions. The first arrangement, which Huawei opposed, has led to a more acceptable accord with a diverse stakeholder group.
