A new study from Southwest Journal, named Oklahoma the tenth most dangerous state in the U.S. There were a lot of crimes in places like Tulsa, Idabel, and Anadarko. Even though general crime has gone down a little, Oklahoma City is still on the list because of slower changes. This shows that state-wide safety problems still exist. The most dangerous place to live in Oklahoma in 2023 is Tulsa, which is the state’s second-largest city. With 72 killings in 2020, Tulsa has the second-highest rate of serious crime in the country. There is an 88/100 chance that a resident will be robbed, raped, assaulted, or killed. There is a lot of property crime in Tulsa, especially thefts, which accounted for 4,407 cases in 2020. This report is a strong warning to people in the area, especially those who live in areas that need extra safety care.

Different Safety Issues in Muskogee and Ardmore
The study goes into detail about towns like Muskogee, Del City, Pauls Valley, Hugo, Ponca City, and Ardmore to show the different safety issues each one faces.
