According to the Face 2 Face Africa article, Jay-Z’s company, Roc Nation, is helping kids from poor families in Philadelphia go to good schools. They’re giving $300 million in scholarships. This means kids who might not afford school fees can now go to fancy schools. The program is called PASS, and it’s meant to help kids who go to bad public schools.
Roc Nation is telling people about the program from June 10 to June 21 all around Philadelphia. They’re giving different amounts of money based on how old the kids are. Even kids with special needs can get scholarships. Families that make too much money won’t qualify.
