According to the published article by UPI, The Department of Education wants students to finish their FAFSA forms after a messy start to the new application. There’s been a drop in high school seniors completing the FAFSA this year compared to last year. The problems have made some students think twice about going to college.

Even though things are getting better, some students still face issues with the application process. Students from families with low incomes or those who are the first in their families to go to college are having a hard time. Organizations like The Education Trust and NASFAA are helping students and schools deal with these problems.
