Durham, North Carolina is buzzing with excitement as the Black Farmers Market (BFM) gears up for its fifth season starting April 21, 2024 at Durham Technical Community College, according to Spectacular Magazine. Led by Ja’Nell Henry, BFM promises more than just fresh veggies, it’s a lively place celebrating Black farmers and artisans.
BFM has teamed up with SE Raleigh YMCA, Durham Tech, Fertile Ground, the Museum of Life and Science, and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. These partnerships show BFM’s commitment to helping Black farmers and artisans thrive while keeping the community happy and healthy.
