American Battery Technology (NASDAQ: ABAT) Secures $20 Million Award for Battery Recycling Facility Expansion

American Battery Technology announced on Wednesday that it has secured a substantial $20 million award through the Qualifying Advanced Energy Project Credits program . This funding has been granted by the U.S. Department of Treasury Internal Revenue Service after a rigorous evaluation conducted by the U.S. Department of Energy. The $20 million tax credit is earmarked for several purposes including reimbursing capital expenditures incurred to date and investing in equipment and infrastructure to enhance value add operations at ABTC.
