According to True Crime Daily, a quiet neighborhood in New Hanover County, North Carolina got a shocking surprise at 5501 Myrtle Grove Rd. It started with a missing person report for Lawrence Grabka aged 69 on March 27. When deputies went to his house they found something awful—a grave in the backyard with Lawrence Grabka’s remains inside.

Suspect Arrested in Horrific Murder of Lawrence Grabka Life’s Fragility Under the Spotlight – Neighborhood in Grief

In a shocking turn Lawrence Grabka aged 69 was found murdered in his backyard in New Hanover County, North Carolina. His roommate Elvin Baca aged 34 is the prime suspect and has been arrested for first-degree murder. The cause of Lawrence Grabka’s death remains unknown leaving the neighborhood unsettled. Sheriff Ed McMahon expressed concern and Baca is held without bail as the investigation continues.
