Police Respond to Distress Call: Man Found Injured in Parking Lot, Dies at Hospital
According to FOX19, a man died after getting shot in Carthage community on Saturday evening. The police got a call about gunshots in the Carthage community around 6:45 p.m. They found a man with gunshot wounds in a parking lot. They took him to the hospital, but he didn’t make it.

Motive for Shooting Remains Unknown as Investigation Continues
The police caught the person who shot the man after a chase on foot. They don’t know why the shooting happened yet. The police are still investigating to find out what led to the shooting. Carthage community is saddened by the loss and they hope to get answers soon.
