According to Irving Weekly, Irving Independent School District (ISD) is facing a troubling situation after one of its former workers Miranda Montoya who was a Truancy Officer at MacArthur High School got arrested for child grooming. The district cares a lot about its students’ safety and issued a statement saying they expect all staff to be very good in their behavior. Montoya has serious charges against her but the district says she hasn’t been proven guilty yet. They explained she quit her job in February and hasn’t been around since.
