Kinder Morgan Settles Overtime Dispute with Inspectors
$3.56 Million Settlement Reached for Unpaid Overtime
According to the U.S. Sun, Kinder Morgan an energy company, has agreed to pay a lot of money after not paying inspectors for working extra hours. They’re giving $3.56 million to those who worked on their projects but didn’t get paid for overtime. People who were inspectors and worked for Kinder Morgan’s projects can get money from this settlement. They say they should’ve been paid more for working more than 40 hours a week.

Waste Management Responds to Data Breach with Compensation Package
Another company Waste Management, is also dealing with a problem. They had a data breach where hackers got into their systems and took important information about employees. Waste Management is now offering money to people affected by this breach same as Kinder Morgan did. They’re also giving free credit monitoring and insurance for identity theft. But the time to ask for this money has already passed which was on March 14, 2024.
