Minnesota Couple Faces Charges for Neglecting German Shepherd Dogs
Legal Battle Ensues Over Mistreatment of German Shepherds in LeRoy
In a small town called LeRoy, Minnesota a man and a woman Elham Alayyoub and Donald Anderson are in trouble, according to the report of Inforum. They’re being accused of not taking care of their German Shepherd dogs. The police and a group called the Animal Humane Society took away 15 dogs from their home. These dogs were not doing well some were very skinny and their living area was dirty.
The trouble started when one of the dogs died. The owner, Mr. Anderson thought someone might have made the dog sick on purpose. When the police looked into it they found out that many of the dogs were not healthy. They were too thin and not being looked after properly. There’s a big discussion in court about what should happen to the dogs and what punishment the owners should get.
Fate of Neglected German Shepherd Dogs Hangs in Balance Amid Legal Proceedings
The judge has to decide if the dogs should stay with the Animal Humane Society or go back to their owners. Mr. Anderson and Ms. Alayyoub have to wait to see what happens next. They might get in trouble for not taking care of their dogs. It’s a sad situation for the German Shepherds involved but hopefully things will get better for them soon.
