These institutions must offer sustainable, scalable postsecondary skilled trades education programs, focusing on areas like appliance repair, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, and plumbing, all contributing to Skilled Trades Community Revitalization. High school programs serving K-12 students are not eligible.

Applying for the grant is straightforward but requires attention to deadlines. The application period varies based on the organization type. It’s crucial for applicants to adhere to these timelines to be considered for funding.

Once awarded, organizations have 24 months to utilize the funds effectively, further advancing Skilled Trades Community Revitalization. The grants are needs-based, meaning they are allocated based on the organization’s requirements and proposed projects.
