High school programs serving K-12 students are not eligible.

Applying for the grant is straightforward but requires attention to deadlines. The application period varies based on the organization type. Community and technical colleges have a deadline from March 1 to March 31, while community-based nonprofits can apply from August 1 to August 31, thus contributing to Skilled Trades Community Revitalization. It’s crucial for applicants to adhere to these timelines to be considered for funding.

Once awarded, organizations have 24 months to utilize the funds effectively, further advancing Skilled Trades Community Revitalization. The grants are needs-based, meaning they are allocated based on the organization’s requirements and proposed projects. Recipients can also reapply for funding after their grant period ends, allowing for ongoing support and partnership with Lowe’s Foundation, driving Skilled Trades Community Revitalization forward.
