On January 12, the McPherson County Sheriff’s Office began looking into how illegal items got into and were given out in the McPherson County Jail.
McPherson County Jail Deputy Under Fire
Cheyenne Ratley, who was a McPherson County Corrections Deputy at McPherson County Jail at the time of the crime, was named as a suspect after this probe.
After that, Ratley was caught and charged with bringing illegal items into a prison by a prison guard.

Awaiting Extradition While Investigation Continues
At the moment, she is waiting to be sent back to Kansas to face these charges.
The investigation into what happened is still going on as police try to find out more about the case and possible suspects at the McPherson County Jail.
