  • Both Mount Rushmore and Badlands National Park are notable South Dakota attractions. Also interesting are Crazy Horse Memorial and Wind Cave National Park.
  • Food in South Dakota is varied and tasty. Sanaa’s Gourmet in Sioux Falls and Jerry’s Cakes in Rapid City had delicious donuts. Crow Peak Brewing’s Pile O’ Dirt Porter is great, and Sturgis’ Full Throttle Saloon is fun at night.
  • Many South Dakota parks please nature lovers. Custer State Park is huge and weekend-friendly. Roughlock Falls State Nature Center and Palisades State Park are less known.
  • South Dakota museums educate Native American art and culture. Akta Lakota Museum and Redlin Art Center were fun. Hill City’s Wades Gold Mill let me pan for gold and see vintage mining machinery.
  • Unique South Dakota products include Wall Drug with a big dinosaur and mounted jackalopes. Amazing Porter Sculpture Park. Ancient, ghost-filled Hotel Alex Johnson was my lodging.
  • Moving to South Dakota demands planning. Declare your move, get aid, and pack. Tidy up your old property. Moving is an experience, not merely relocation.
  • There are various ways to go to SD. Piano and art packages and more are offered. Moving services are accessible last minute.
  • Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota tribes have long lived in South Dakota. The Lakota enjoy the Black Hills. Bear Butte State Park embodies Native Americans’ earth connection.
  • Powwows and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally are held in South Dakota. Great experiences at Sioux Falls JazzFest and Sisseton Winter Show.
