SpaceX Launches Rocket with Starlink Satellites
According to The Guardian, Elon Musk’s SpaceX had launched a rocket on Tuesday carrying the first set of Starlink satellites that can beam signals directly to phones from outer space.
Elon Musk’s SpaceX struck a deal that would provide networks for phone users in dead zones with network access via its Starlink satellites.
One of the rockets carrying T-Mobile US, confirmed that the Starlink satellites carried in the SpaceX Falcone 9 rocket were in low-Earth orbit this morning.

Wireless Providers in Starlink Satellites
According to US News, aside from T-Mobile US, the Falcon 9 rocket also carried Japan’s KDDI, Australia’s Optus, New Zealand’s One NZ, and Canada’s Rogers which also collaborated with SpaceX to launch direct-to-cell technology were also launched with the help of Starlink satellites.
SpaceX also plans to rapidly scale up the project, as stated by Sara Spangelo, a senior director of Starlink satellite engineering at SpaceX. Spangelo also remarked that the launch is the first direct-to-cell Starlink satellites as she noted that this is an exciting milestone for SpaceX to demonstrate its technologies.
