This disturbing trend occurred twice on December 24, 2023, in the 4000 block of South Federal St. between 7:30 and 8:30 P.M. These audacious acts create worries for community safety and security, as citizens must now be cautious while shopping online or responding to ads. Residents must be more vigilant due to the frequent occurrence in the same region. Police in the 2nd District are investigating these events and want anybody with knowledge to come forward to help catch the offenders.
Community members should be watchful and prioritize safety in light of these alarming events. Authorities advise care while making online purchases, especially on social media. Residents should also report suspicious behavior to the police immediately. We can improve 2nd District safety and well-being by encouraging law enforcement-community dialogue.
