Iranian’s Short-Range Ballistic Attack Resulted in Several US Troops Injured
According to Albawaba, several troops have been confirmed to be injured in an Iranian-backed short-range ballistic missile attack on the Ain Al-Asad base in Iraq. The Pentagon says that the assault resulted in 10 US troops injured that were stationed at the base.
The US troops responded with a retaliatory strike, which was not pre-planned, resulting in several casualties in Iranian-backed militia personnel.
The recent attack believed to be Iranian involved on the Ain Al-Asad base highlights the intensifying threats faced by US troops’ bases in Iraq and Syria.

US Troops Conducted Precision Strikes in Two Facilities
According to CBS News, the US Central Command stated that the AC-130 maintained a visual confirmation of the individuals from the time of the launch to the time of engagement. Moreover, the US troops conducted precision strikes against two facilities in Iraq on Wednesday morning.
The two facilities that were targeted were an operations center and a communications center that belonged to Kataib Hezbollah, one of the main Iraq-backed militias in Iraq.
