The distressing call reported both a gunshot wound and a stabbing victim, with Michael Foutch identified as the stabbing victim, while also revealing a disturbing connection involving a mother and son arrested in the case.
Foutch recounted a horrifying intrusion into his home by a man later identified as Robert Napier. Fearing for his safety, Foutch courageously defended himself using a baseball bat until he heard gunshots, at which point he retreated and awaited law enforcement. Mother and son arrested in connection with the incident.

Law enforcement officers, upon arriving at the scene, examined surveillance footage, which revealed the arrival of Robert Napier and his mother, Earlene Napier, at Foutch’s residence, ultimately shedding light on the sequence of events that transpired, leading the apprehension of the mother and son arrested.
The video further unveiled Earlene Napier firing two shots, the very shots that Foutch had heard during his confrontation with Robert Napier. As the troopers inspected the premises, they discovered two bullet holes in the front door, penetrating through the home, providing crucial evidence in the case against the mother and son arrested. One of the bullets struck a wall inside the house, while the other injured Robert Napier in the arm.
In the aftermath of this shocking incident, which unfolded while two children were present in the home, intensifying its gravity, Michael Foutch was rushed to UK Hospital, where he currently resides in serious condition. Earlene Napier, who played a central role in the disturbing events captured on surveillance footage, was taken into custody and charged with wanton endangerment. She was subsequently released on a $30,000 property bond, while the ongoing investigation continues to shed light on the circumstances that led to the mother and son arrested.
