Georgia Gas Prices Continue Their Recent Steady Decline- Drivers Feel Some Relief At The Pump

According to the weekly report from AAA, the average of Georgia gas prices has decreased steady over the past two weeks. Currently, Georgia’s drivers are paying an average of $3.56 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.

SOURCE– According to the weekly report from AAA, the average of Georgia gas prices has decreased steady over the past two weeks. The Georgia gas prices decreased by  4 cents compared to last week and 8 cents compared last month, but an increase of 30 cents compared to same time last year.

Filling up a 15-gallon tank of gas now is cost around $53.40, which is $1.20 less than last month. The AAA-Auto Club Group spokeswoman Montrae Waiters said that because the Georgia gas prices was remained steady, Georgian drivers are feeling some relief at the pump. The Georgia gas prices may ebb and flow until it get beyond hurricane season, and its threats to Gulf Coast oil and gas production and refining.

According to the weekly report from AAA, since last Monday, the national average per gallon of regular gasoline has remained steady at around $3.82. The decrease in gas prices for other states is due to the recent uptick in the price of oil- the primary ingredient in gasoline. According to the data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), the gas demand increased from 9.07 to 9.32 million barrels a day last week.
