NASA Psyche Mission to Launch on October
SPACE reports that NASA Psyche mission is about to launch a month from now. The mission is expected to launch atop a SpaceX Falcom Heavy rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. NASA Psyche mission is the 4th mission selected as part of NASA’s Discovery Program.
The team behind the NASA Psyche mission is excitedly looking forward to the launch, following a previous unsuccessful attempt in 2022 due to a problem with the spacecraft’s flight software. Fortunately, the faulty software has been resolved, and they are now prepared to launch.

NASA Psyche mission will explore an asteroid with a metal surface, aiming to understand iron cores and planet formation building blocks, according to NASA.
The team also added that the NASA Psyche mission will be the first to directly examine the interior of a planetary body. Moreover, it is also anticipated that the team will discover how Earth and rocky planets are formed.
