According to MILITARY, the veterans and military families will contribute to the country this year, next year, and beyond by being poll workers in the US elections.
Organizers for We the Veterans and Military Families announced ahead of National Poll Worker Recruitment Day that they are expanding their efforts to attract veterans and military families to serve as poll workers. Additionally, they encouraged the veterans and military families in New Hampshire to be part of the election process.

The Issue of the 2020 US Elections
According to Military Times, misinformation about elections occurred in 2020, when the former President, Donald Trump, falsely claimed he lost because of widespread voter fraud. The former president targeted New Hampshire, especially in the town of Windham with the claim of election fraud. However, officials have debunked his claims.
Because of what occurred in 2020, Scanlan, a Republican, encouraged the veterans and military families to volunteer during the 2024 elections. Scanlan also added that it will be an opportunity to educate voters generally with the help of the veterans and military families.
