‘Squad’ Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who accumulated $250,000 in student debt from his bachelor’s to doctoral degrees, wants a total cancellation of student debt as he believes education should be free.

Jamaal Bowman Accrued 250K Student Debt
According to Flipboard, Jamaal Bowman, a ‘Squad’ representative, has accrued a total of $250,000 by earning his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The publisher states that $220,000 from Jamaal Bowman accrued from his degrees and $30,000 in loans for his children.
Jamaal Bowman has urged the cancellation of all student debts and claimed that education should be free for people in the US. He also stated the borrowers have been “preyed upon” by the education system.

‘Squad’ Members In Favor of Student Debt Cancellation
As per the Washington Free Beacon, the ‘Squad’ Members have cited that they are in favor of cancellation of the student debt. Jamaal Bowman also stated that he is one of the very few Black Ph.D. holders in America.
The whole cancellation that Jamaal Bowman of student loans goes beyond the plans of the president of the nation.
The Biden administration had issued an executive order that canceled up to $20,000 in federal loans for individuals earning less than $125,000 a year.
