I’ll Kill Myself, I’ll Kill You Too

Last Friday, a former teacher Angelica Carrasquillo in Northwestern Indiana,25, pleaded guilty to an intimidation charge in Lake County Superior Court. She was not allowed to teach while on probation and not allowed to contact victims in the case and a requirement for court-monitored mental health treatment, according to AP News.

One of the staff from the school told that after they overheard the threat from a 5th-grader, they immediately speak to her and asked “why she want to kill herself and others”, and the Indiana teacher answered that she was having trouble with her mental health and her students do not listen. Also added, she suffered trauma when she was in high school, according to the article from US News.

If a former Indiana teacher with a ‘kill list’ of students and staff successfully completes her probation she can reduce her conviction to a misdemeanor. But as of now, the Indiana teacher communicated a ‘threat to commit murder’ last October 12.Ā  She was being held with a bond set at 20,000 dollars.
