The federal government has released three rounds of stimulus checks, but another $2,800 stimulus will be sent to eligible Americans in the country.
$2,800 Stimulus Checks
The distribution of stimulus checks has been the hallmark of the federal government during the pandemic. This made sure that low-income households—those who lost their jobs and were affected by the pandemic—were financially supported amidst the crisis.
In a published article in MARCA, eligible Americans in the country will receive an amount of $2,800 as part of the Economic Impact Payments under the ‘The American Bailout Plan Act of 2021’. Meanwhile, single filers will receive an amount of $1,400 stimulus checks.

How To Claim Your $2,800 Stimulus Check?
The Internal Revenue Service mentioned that the stimulus checks distributed since the pandemic began are not taxable. They also advised those who qualify for the new round of stimulus checks to visit the official website of the agency and track the money in the ‘Get My Payment Section’.
Furthermore, individuals earning up to $80,000 will receive partial payments, but married couples earning more than $160,000 per annum are not eligible for this program. Those with dependents will receive $1,400 per person, including college students and seniors claiming as dependents.
