have started an investigation into a disturbing case in which two LGBTQ women and a male friend were attacked, as seen in a video that NBC South Florida obtained exclusively. The attack happened on November 26 in Miami’s lively Wynwood neighborhood. It is thought to have been motivated by hate.

Multiple men are seen violently attacking the victims on the video, and cries for help can be heard on the recording. The victims said they had to deal with anti-lesbian comments and verbal abuse before they were attacked, which shows how bad the situation was.

One victim described the terrifying event in great detail, saying she was afraid for her safety as she talked about being punched several times and possibly needing surgery for her injuries. Another victim said they were beaten until they passed out, which shows that the attack was specifically aimed at one person.

Ongoing Investigation and Concerns

The police have confirmed that they are working on the case and are working with the State Attorney’s Office’s LGBTQ+ liaison and hate crime task force. Even though people are still trying, no one has been arrested yet, which makes the victims worry that the criminals are still on the loose.

A Miami Police Department official talked about how carefully the investigation is being done and how important it is to make sure that all aspects are looked at before any arrests are made. They also said that the department is working with specialized units to deal with this upsetting situation.

One victim was upset that their attackers were still free and worried that they would not be caught. This added to the fear and anxiety surrounding the incident and made the victims feel unsafe, even though the investigation is still going on.
