David Weiss, the special counsel, filed an indictment against Hunter Biden late on Thursday night, charging him with nine counts of failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes between the years 2016 and 2020.

17-year Prison Sentence of Hunter Biden
Six misdemeanors and three felonies—including tax evasion and submitting a fraudulent return—carry a maximum 17-year prison sentence. The 56-page indictment claims Hunter Biden “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle at the same time he chose not to pay his taxes.” Timeline: Hunter Biden is under legal, and political investigation. Prosecutors demanded that Hunter Biden pay his taxes from 2016 to 2020, claiming that he spent $683,212 on payments to several women, $397,530 on clothing and accessories, and $188,960 on adult entertainment. Biden also utilized the business line of credit to pay $27,316 to an online pornography website, accounting for one-fifth of all business line of credit expenses.
According to ABC News, Hunter Biden stole $2 million from his lawyer and confidant Kevin Morris to pay the IRS for late taxes, fines, and liens. Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, claimed in a tweet that the indictment contained no new evidence and that Weiss was caving to Republican pressure. If Hunter’s surname had been anything other than Biden, the accusations in Delaware, and now California, would not have been prosecuted. After plea discussions failed, prosecutors announced tax accusations against the president’s son months ago. According to a source, a Los Angeles grand jury has subpoenaed President Biden’s brother James Biden for their Hunter Biden investigation. September saw Weiss’ felony gun indictment of Biden. His plea is not guilty.
