The death toll in an Alaska landslide has increased when the body of an 11-year-old was found. However, two bodies have remained missing.
Girl, 11, Found in an Alaska Landslide
CTV News reports that the authorities have recovered the body of an 11-year-old girl covered by the debris of the Alaska landslide that tore down the wooded mountainside, smashing many homes.
The 11-year-old girl was identified as Kara Heller. She is the fourth person to have been found and confirmed its death due to the Alaska landslide. Moreover, 4 of her family member was also found and confirmed dead in the initial days after the Alaska landslide occurred.

2 Bodies Remains Missing in Alaska Landslide
According to ABC, after the confirmation of the 11-year-old’s death. The officials have notified that 2 bodies remain missing which are Derek Heller (12), and Otto Florschutz (65).
Three homes were determined to be in the path of the Alaska landslide: Two houses on the mountainside and one on the waterside of the way which could be assumed the homes of Heller and Florschuts.
The officials estimated the measurement of the Alaska landslide to be 500 feet across the highway.
The search for the 65-year-old Florschutz and 12-year-old Heller is still underway.
