Four Las Vegas High School Students Held Without Bail, Transferred to Juvenile Detention Center for Safety Purposes

According to ABC News, the court’s decision was not to bring a first-degree murder charge against the Las Vegas high school students as the evidence shows that the beating was not a premeditated act.

The Las Vegas high school students remain held without bail. However, a prosecutor granted a joint request from prosecutors and defense attorneys to transfer them from the county jail to the juvenile detention center for their safety.

At least 8 Las Vegas high school students were allegedly involved and arrested in the Nov. 1 brawl where Jonathan Lewis Jr. became a victim and died. Other Las Vegas high school students are still waiting for separate hearings because they are all under the age of 16.
