Kaitlin Armstrong has been found guilty of murder by a Texas jury in relation to shooting the death of a pro-cyclist, Anna Moriah “Mo” Wilson.
Jury Finds Kaitlin Armstrong Guilty of Murder
According to FOX, Kaitlin Armstrong has been found guilty of murder in the shooting of professional cyclist, Anna Moriah “Mo” Wilson, who prosecutors stated was shot once through the heart and twice in the head after going on a date with Kaitlin Armstong’s live-in, on-and-off boyfriend.
Kaitlin Armstrong was 37 years old when she was accused of shooting the 25-year-old star cyclist to death after the victim was dropped off at a friend’s Austin apartment by Kaitlin Armstrong’s boyfriend. It was claimed that the crime occurred due to jealousy.
Kaitlin Armstrong Trial Called 40 Witness
According to ABC, 40 witnesses have been called over the two-week trial of Kaitlin Armstrong, including the victim’s family, Caitlin Cash, who found Wilson’s body, and the family of the defendant.
They presented evidence they say showed Kaitlin Armstrong’s 2012 Jeep Cherokee circling the residence’s block the night of the crime, the firearms that were used during the homicide were also presented as well as Kaitlin Armstrong’s DNA which was likely found on Wilson’s bicycle.
