Central City

Central City is one of the eight worst neighborhoods in Phoenix. Central City has a population of 58,161 with a total crime rate of 315% which is above the national average. Moreover, violent crime is quite high in the area with a lot of shootings, homicides, and robberies being the crimes that are common.

Alhambra

Alhambra is also one of the worst neighborhoods in Phoenix, located south of Northern Avenue and north of Grand Canal. The crime rate in Alahambrra is 180%, with violent crimes being common such as shootings, robberies, and muggings. Additionally, theft is a major problem in the neighborhood with drug trafficking being common as well.

Encanto

Encanto is the third on the list of the worst neighborhoods in Phoenix. Encanto has a population of 54,600 with a crime rate of 159%, which is higher than the national average. Moreover, the violent crimes that are common in the area are homicides, robberies, and assaults.

South Mountain

South Mountain is also one of the most dangerous places in Phoenix. It is known for its crime of drug trafficking, violent crimes, and gang activity.

North Mountain

North Mountain is also listed as one of the worst neighborhoods in Phoenix with a crime rate of 102%. Common crimes in the area are property crimes, larceny, theft, and vehicle theft.

Camelback East

Maryvale
