On October 25th, a man from Fairfax County was the lucky winner of a $5 million reward from the Virginia Lottery.

A Lucky Man Wins $5 Million in Virginia Lottery

According to the information provided by the Virginia Lottery, Alexandr Pichshev had no intention of participating in the lottery until he happened to stroll across a lottery machine at a Safeway gas station located at 3043 Nutley Street in the Merrifield region. At that point, he decided to purchase a couple of tickets and play the lottery. Pichshev claims that he discovered he had won the $5 million reward as he was scratching the $326 Million Fortune game ticket he had purchased.

Pichshev stated that he was taken aback by the event. After I handed the store manager the ticket, he instructed me to sign it and gave me the ticket back.
