Super Strypi Rocket Failed to Launch Seven Years Ago
SPACE reports that seven years ago, an experimental rocket for small satellites, the Super Strypi rocket, failed to launch from the Pacific Missile Range Facility off Barking Sands, Kauai, Hawaii.
The mission on November 4, 2015, the Air Force was testing out the Super Strypi rocket. It was able to liftoff. However, after it left the ground, the Super Strypi rocket spun out of control and thus, marked its failed launch.

Super Strypi Rocket Never Recovered from Its Failure
According to Yahoo News, the Super Strypi rocket was destroyed upon its crash. The tiny satellites riding along the rocket were also destroyed. The cause was allegedly the first-stage motor.
The mission lost 13 tiny satellites known as CubeSats upon the crash of the Super Strypi rocket. The CubeSats were a popular option for space missions, because they were small and cheap, and they often operated swarms.
After failing to launch and crash the batch of CubeSats. the Super Strypi rocket was never able to recover from its failure and the Air Force also never tried launching the Super Strypi rocket once again.
