Ma Ying-jeou to Meet and Talk with the Scholars

The National Committee on United States-China Relations, a non-governmental organization, in New York will host students from the Ma Ying-jeou Foundation’s Dajiu Academy in Taiwan. This will correspond with Ma’s visit to New York University.

They will stop in Washington, D.C. along the way to attend talks with scholars from Brookings Institution and the Heritage Foundation. A visit to the New York headquarters of World Journal, the nation’s leading Chinese language daily, will also provide students with the chance to meet members of the Committee of 100, a non-profit leadership group comprised of Chinese Americans. On top of that, Hsiao is going to cook him a supper buffet at the Twin Oaks restaurant in Washington, D.C.
