Israeli Taken as Hostage in Current Conflict in Israel and Palestine
According to The Guardian, several Israeli soldiers were taken hostage by Hamas after the deadly attack that occurred resulting in the current conflict in Israel and Palestine.
Regarding the current conflict in Israel and Palestine, Hamas officials posted a video concerning the hostages that were taken, including civilians and soldiers. However, the spokesperson for the Israeli defense forces declined to specify the number of hostages.
Further, the videos that were taken in the current conflict in Israel and Palestine showed that soldiers were being kicked on the ground, led away, and faces covered in blood while lying on the ground. Another video also showed that civilians were taken in the neighborhood of Shejaiya in Gaza, as well as in southern Israel, a village close to Gaza.
