Who qualifies for SNAP benefits?
There are two ways to qualify for SNAP benefits.
- Traditional: It depends on household gross income, net income, and assets. The gross household monthly income ( salary earned before taxes and other deductions are taken) can’t be over 130% of the federal poverty level or FPL. Net household income ( amount of money you bring in your house) can’t be over 100% of the federal poverty level or FPL.
