Jackets in the Morning, T-Shirts by Noon? Boise’s Weather Is Playing Dress-Up This Week!

Folks, we’ve made it. After weeks of flirting with warmer weather, Boise is finally easing into spring in a way that feels… real. The kind of weather where you step outside, take a deep breath, and think, “Yeah, this is what I’ve been waiting for.”

It’s not all perfect — Monday’s planning to pull a fast one — but overall, this week is shaping up to be a smooth mix of sunshine, mild temps, and the occasional cloudy moment that makes you appreciate the sunshine even more.

Let’s take a look at what Mother Nature’s cooking up:

Saturday – Chill Vibes & Mostly Sunshine

High: 63°F | Low: 38°F

A crisp but comfortable day to stretch your legs, hit the Greenbelt, or wander downtown with a coffee in hand. You’ll want a jacket in the morning, but by mid-afternoon, you’re golden.

Pro Tip:
Great day for a hike or just a lazy loop around your favorite park. Just maybe pack an extra layer if you’re out late.

Sunday – The Kind of Day You Wish You Could Bottle

High: 71°F | Low: 50°F

Sunshine, warmth, and that gentle spring breeze that makes you want to stay outside all day. It’s easily the best day of the week to be out and about — like nature’s apology for dragging winter out so long.

Perfect for:
Picnics, farmers markets, frisbee in the park — or just napping in the sun.

Monday – That One Cloudy Friend Who Shows Up Uninvited

High: 64°F | Low: 44°F

Rain in the morning, clouds in the afternoon. Monday’s the Debbie Downer of the week — not awful, just… moody. You might want to keep the umbrella handy and your expectations low.

Best move:
Get cozy. Work from a coffee shop. Avoid ambitious outdoor plans until the sky calms down.

Tuesday – Easy Breezy, Back on Track

High: 62°F | Low: 41°F

The sun’s back, the rain’s gone, and we’re chilling in classic Boise fashion. It’s that “grab your hoodie and go” kind of day — not hot, but definitely nice.

Feels like:
A “clean out the garage with the doors open” kind of afternoon.

Wednesday – Warm & Partly Cloudy (We’ll Take It)

High: 67°F | Low: 44°F

A little more cloud cover than we’d like, but the temps are climbing and it’s starting to feel like spring might actually stick around. A great day to eat lunch outside or walk the dog before dinner.

Forecast Vibe:
Not perfect, but perfectly livable.

Thursday – Cloudy, Warm, and Totally Worth It

High: 72°F | Low: 50°F

Sure, it’s cloudy — but when it’s this warm in early April, who’s complaining? It’s the kind of “soft spring” day that lets you ease into a sweatshirt and still feel the warmth around you.

Best bet:
Patio happy hour. Backyard hang. Just enjoy the fact that 72 is here and snow is (probably) behind us.

Boise, this is one of those weeks that reminds us why we love it here. Crisp mornings, golden afternoons, and just enough unpredictability to keep it interesting. Spring hasn’t fully settled in yet, but it’s definitely unpacking its bags.
