A sweet two-year-old shepherd blend named Zelda still waits patiently at the Valley Animal Center in Fresno, California for a family of her own. Abandoned in the lobby of the shelter, Zelda didn’t understand what happened that terrible day, only that she couldn’t find the people who had adopted her and returned her after only three days.
And now, 200 days later, not only did they never return for her, but no one else seems to want her either. Zelda grapples with the stress the only way she knows … she suckles on her blanket attempting to relieve her anxiety.

Here’s a little more detail about this sweet pup:
She is a sweet Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray. She’s a big, goofy girl with a love for long walks and plenty of playtime. Zelda is treat-motivated and incredibly smart—she’s ready to learn, especially if there are snacks involved!
Zelda would thrive in a home where she’s the only pet, as she’s not a fan of other dogs. She’s looking for a home with a spacious yard where she can burn off her energy and enjoy some outdoor fun.

If you’re looking for an active, loving companion, Zelda might be your perfect match.
Check out her video clip and pay close attention to those saddest eyes ;(
Poor Zelda just looks so sad while staring at the person making the video. Is Zelda thinking maybe that person wants to adopt her and take her home?
POV you were returned after 3 days and now you have been waiting 200+ days to be adopted
