Nothing much surprises rescuer Faith Easdale anymore. Fortunately, her optimism and rewards of having saved so many unwanted, abused and neglected pets through the years, continue to inspire her tireless efforts.
It had been Sunday morning when Faith and the team of volunteers had been searching a riverbed for hours after a friend reported having seen a black matted dog who needed to be rescued. Not all rescues happen in minutes, hours or even days. The dog was nowhere to be found, however a feeding station had been set up; they would check this location later.

Then came another emergency. Another rescuer called Faith in a panic. A small dog was spotted on Arizona Highway 50, and the dog had barely been able to move from the shoulder of the road because of his matted coat and possible leg injury. He was at least 50 miles from any homes. Perhaps the cruelest person to ever be imagined dropped an ailing dog off in the middle of nowhere?
The dog’s hero stopped and picked him up and is driving back to California where the badly injured little guy will be brought to the same hospital where the latest Great Pyrenees found along the freeway is being treated. Along with the recent rescued dogs, dogs in emergency boarding as well as rescuers fostering others, the crisis to rescue grows worse.
this is one lucky boy found in the middle of nowhere. Miracles do happen!
Please help if you can. It would be hard for all of us to imagine if Faith could no longer say “yes” to these innocent lives needing to be rescued.
