According to Georgian authorities, a mass shooting that occurred in Hampton early on Saturday morning claimed at least four lives. According to reports, the shooting spree started at 10:45 am. in Hampton, a tiny city south of Atlanta, specifically in the Dogwood Lakes region.
Andre Longmore, 40-year-old was the suspect according to the authorities. Three men and one woman, according to police, were killed by Longmore.
At a press conference on Saturday afternoon, police chief James Turner said, “We’re not releasing the name of the victims at this time to ensure that the family has time to be notified and to allow them to grieve in private before it becomes public.” “We had at least four crime scenes that we were still actively investigating,” Turner continued. According to reports, the suspect was last seen driving a black 2017 GMC Acadia SUV.
Authorities Urged the Public to be Vigilant About the Suspect
Authorities have warned anyone who sees Longmore to call 911 right away because they believe he is still carrying a black revolver and is armed and dangerous. Four arrest orders for Longmore were acquired by the authorities. The sheriff’s office in Henry County is offering a prize of $10,000 to anyone who can identify the culprit.
