Three suspects of stealing a car in Philadelphia flee after shooting a man in the head who tried to stop them.
In a stealing car incident in Philadelphia, a 50-year-old man was shot in the head after trying to help his friend whose car was about to be stolen.
Three suspects of stealing a car were identified through cameras present at the crime scene. These three suspects were also responsible for shooting the head of the victim.
The victim of the shooting incident was identified as Michael Salerno, 50, a friend of the owner of the car that had been stolen.
Salerno was shot at the double-parked car in the 1100 block of Porter Street in South Philadelphia, based on the records of police.

The Stealing Car And Shooting Incident
Authorities reported that Salerno tried to stop the three suspects from stealing the car of his female friend.
The three suspects were shown in the video footage pulling up behind the double-parked vehicle with an unknown New Jersey license plate.
One of the suspects had been seen approaching the driver.
Salerno intervened to help but was shot in the head by one of the suspects.
The three then flee from the scene.
