
OAKLAND — One man was killed and another man wounded in two shootings that happened about 10 minutes apart Wednesday evening in different areas of the city, authorities said.
The name of the 25-year-old man killed has not yet been released pending notification of his family. Police have not said where he lived.
The fatal shooting happened about 5:38 p.m. Wednesday outside in the 1200 block of 65th Avenue.

The man, who was wounded multiple times, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased, authorities said.
Police have not released a motive yet for the killing. No arrests have been announced and no suspect information has been released.
The non-fatal shooting happened about 5:28 p.m. at a homeless camp in the 1600 block of East 12th Street, authorities said.
