Fatal accident shuts down both North Freeway main lanes and frontage road

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A fatal crash occurred in the northbound lanes of the North Freeway near Richey Road around 3 a.m. Friday morning.

Both the northbound main lanes lanes of the north freeway and the frontage road were shut down at E. Richey as deputies investigated.

Deputies are investigating the cause of the crash, and more information will follow if it becomes available.
